I'm not jumping on the bandwagon for this one. Nope. Sorry. Everyone's making a fuss about this ugly Celine bag. Don't they sell bags just like this at JC Penney? Or have all the big editors just avoided JC Penney for so long that they don't realize they're being hoodwinked? This stupid too-small satchel is on like twelve pages in the new issue of American Bazaar (that's what I get for reading American Bazaar, no?) and it just baffles me. I'm all for Phoebe Philo being installed at Celine, and I think she's done some beautiful work there already, but I just can't get behind this bag.
