Intriguing.

I am simultaneously appalled that Forever 21 would so blatantly knock off Alexander Wang, and sort of enthralled that they did it. I don't think I could bring myself to actually purchase them (they look a little cheap, no?), but I might have to try them on.

Heroes.

13 thimbles of brown tears.

When I get a Kills ticket in the mail, you'd better cover your ears. There is no greater scream of joy than that moment when I open a nondescript envelope to discover a concert ticket. You'd think I'd never seen them before. I scream, LITERALLY, like a crazed fangirl. This is the same reaction I'd expect to have upon seeing Marc Jacobs in person, or winning the lottery. Pure, unadulterated screaming.

[not a Kills pic, but I love it. unfortch, I don't remember where I stole it. sorry if it's yours, let me know!]

I'll just rename this blog "Boots and the Kills"..

..because that's all I seem to post about!

both boots, Forever21 ($34.80, $26.90)

2 quick updates:
- The Kills show in Philadelphia must be sold out, because I can't find tickets. But I got a ticket for Webster Hall in NYC. Anyone going? :)
- The brown Nine West boots are so insanely perfect I can't even take it. I just skulked through the grocery store like a secret rock star. I want to crush them and beat them on a curb so they're even more perfect. I'm in love..

Problem solved

Much to my dismay, after posting yesterday's boots I realized they weren't even available in my size. Howeverrrr, these little cuties from Nine West are marked down to $39.99 from $129, aaand they still have size 7. So, tax return still earmarked for debt reduction..Mosshart-esque boot acquisition fulfilled (okay, they aren't quite as badass as the Dolce Vita boots, but a little dirt and wear and tear, they'll be super rock n roll). And together we'll live happily ever after.

(they're also 20% off right now, AND the free shipping code "vip2008" still works! score!)

Tax return blues

I've had a crush on these Dolce Vita boots all winter long, and they're finally on sale at Urban Outfitters. They're so Alison Mosshart-wannabe. Can't you just see me in skinny jeans and a sloppy tee, chipped nail polish and cheap wayfarers? I'm trying not to pre-spend my tax return, I keep telling myself I'm putting it directly towards my credit card bill...
(would one little pair of perfect boots hurt so much?)
