Sickening.

This stupid bitch needs a publicist with an IQ. "Green," in this instance, does not refer to the color t-shirt you selected upon (unfortunately) waking this morning, to pair with your ass and jeans. Green means you give a shit about the future of the planet and investigate what you can do to better its future. Which generally, the average moron would even surmise, means NOT PICKING UP A STUPID FUCKING TABLOID AND CARRYING IT HOME IN A PLASTIC BAG, WHILE WEARING A DUMB T-SHIRT, PROBABLY NOT EVEN ORGANIC COTTON, THAT SAYS 'GREEN IS THE NEW BLACK'. Keep hanging out with Paris Hilton, you idiot Kim Kardassian. Sorry guys, I'm a few sangrias deep, and this picture just completely outraged me.

I like to consider myself a serious environmentalist, and I know these stupid t-shirts which usually retail for less than $20 in mass-market chain stores are not benefitting the cause in any way. To actually benefit the cause (esp. if you reside in New Jersey), please visit www.drgreenway.org, an environmental organization dedicated to the preservation of open space, beautiful land, and precious creatures. I'm on one of their committees, and I'm extremely impressed by the level of dedication and professionalism of those involved. None of the people I've met through this organization would be dumb enough to be caught in this picture/situation.

Seriously, it's not hard, stop using plastic bags. Get two cheap tote bags (honestly, they're EVERYWHERE now.), keep them in your car, and when a cashier goes to put your pack of gum in a bag by itself, it's okay to say to them, "I don't need a bag for that, thank you." Just do it. It's important, and it makes a difference. Thank you and have a good night. <3

I'm not a huge fan of her, but it is hypocritical for her to be wearing that shirt and then carry that bag...

I was wondering if you would like to do a link exchange with me, so if you do please let me know!

ha wow, awesome post. though i love how being green is now 'in' for the hollywood crowd, it would be better if some of them had a better idea of what it actually entails. i also couldn't agree more...it's seriously so simple to just bring totes along everywhere i go. plus, then i don't have to answer the stupid question: do you want paper or plastic, miss?

Um yeah she's wearing a green t-shirt, but what about her gas guzzling collection of cars?

PS: Although, she at times is pretty, I find her personality not so much.

Just dropping by to say "hey" to an old friend. Hope all is well. ^_^
